On Wednesday December 4th, openly gay talk show host, Xavier Bettel (pictured left) was sworn in as the Prime Minister of Luxemburg, while another openly gay man, Etienne Schneider, (pictured right) was made his deputy, making Luxemburg the first county in the world with gay men filling the top two spots in its government

Akpos was walking down
the street
sometime ago, then he
saw a beautiful
Toyota Jeep parked on the
side way. He stopped for a minute to
stare and
admire it... Just then he
saw a
beautiful & hot chick
coming down the road. "What's Akpos gonna
do??" (He quickly thought
to himself as a
smart guy) He quickly
moved near the
car & pretended it was his ride, he
kicked a bit at the front tire
and
stood by the side of the
door. He
could see her staring at him, sure enough she had
fallen for him already
(thought to himself...) She
walked towards him. He
composed himself & faked
a call to his mechanic while leaning
on the
door. Just then she
approached him
and said, "Excuse me!". He
pretended not to hear her as he flew
big amounts of money for
spare parts.
After a minute she again
said, "Excuse
me sir!" Akpos lowered his phone &
said, "just a second
sweetheart, let me
conclude my last order" &
continued
on phone as he moved away from the door. (At
this moment he was sure
she had
fallen for him, he could tell
from her
impatience) But just as he moved
from the door, guess what!

. She opened her handbag,

car keys, opened the door,
entered & drove off. Akpos fainted!!!

Brazil 2014: FIFA World Cup Finals Draw

The 2014 FIFA World Cup draw took place in Brazil today and Nigeria will play against Argentina, Iran and Bosnia-something...lol. Nigeria's opening game will be against Iran and even though Bosnia looks like it will be an easy game for us, the country is ranked higher than Nigeria in the world. They are ranked 21st, while Nigeria is ranked 36th, but I'm sure we'll qualify alongside Messi's Argentina.

Nelson Mandela dies at 95

South African Government has announced the death of Nelson Mandela. South African president Jacob Zuma announced that the former president and anti-apartheid revolutionary passed away peacefully in the company of his family in his home in Johannesburg around 8:50 this evening Dec. 5th. He was 95 years old.

His death marks the final chapter in a life that changed South Africa forever. What a man! May his soul rest in peace, amen.

President Jacob Zuma said flags will be flown at half-mast across South Africa immediately with a state burial to follow. The UK government have also announced that flags will be flown at half-mast in the UK. Rest in peace, Madiba!

BON bans several artists including 2face, D'banj, Iyanya, because of COSON

For quite some time now, the Copyrights Society of Nigeria (COSON), has been harassing the Broadcasting Society of Nigeria (BON) and the Independent Broadcasting Society of Nigeria, IBAN, insisting that they pay royalties for playing the songs of Nigerian artists. COSON has dragged several radio and TV stations to court, demanding millions, sometimes billions of Naira in royalty.

Well, it seems IBAN and BON have had enough. Two days ago, they announced the ban of all Nigerian artists registered with COSON. Meaning that they ordered the immediate stop to the airing of songs of artists who are COSON members.

The artists include 2face Idibia, D'banj, Onyeka Onwenu, Iyanya, Banky W, Flavour, Ice Prince, Dr Sid, Olamide, 9ice, M.I, eLDee, Ruggedman, Wizkid, Asa, Waje, Omawumi and several others.
