  The Nollywood actress finally succeeded in dragging the movie director to pay the bride price on her! They have concluded all rites and i hear from a very reliable source that plans are on the way for the Traditional wedding proper in her family compound on Friday the 28th. I also hear she has grounded photo snapping at the event. In addition there are rumours that she is 2 months pregnant for him. You all remember Tchidi is married with three kids and his wife even said in a recent interview that they are not properly divorced yet... Emmmm.... here is wishing them a Happy Marriage Life...

Footballer Joseph Yobo’s Flat Horrifies His Landlord

A landlord in Liverpool was horrified when he saw the state in which a flat leased in the name of Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, had been left. There were burn marks on the carpet, a dirty kitchen and bathroom, and holes in the wall. There are iron marks on the floor, as if left by ironing.

The landlord cried out: “I’ve never come across anything like this before and I’m just so shocked. The place looks as if it’s been burgled. The state it’s been left is just unbelievable. There’s bond money of £1,500, but by the look of it, it will need £5,000 to put all the damage right and I will have to call in industrial cleaners.”

The landlord, Mr Ray Smith, says actions will be taken on the situation...

Oscar nominated actor Barkhad Abdi stopped by immigration over ciminal past

 

Oscar nominated actor and BAFTA winner Somali-born Barkhad Abdi was stopped by immigration on returning to the US last month after he traveled to London to accept his BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his first movie role in Captain Philips.

The former limo driver was stopped by US customs officials because of his lengthy criminal record which includes drug possession, card fraud and giving police fake name. He was jailed twice for the offences back in 2012.

Star Tribune reports that Barkhad now faces a hearing with Customs and Border protection this week that carries the possibility of deportation. However, a source told the newspaper said it was unlikely that the 28 year old, who is a permanent legal resident in the U.S, would be deported since customs officials usually only do that in the most serious cases.
