Blessing Effiom Egbe, the writer, producer and director of ‘Lekki Wives’ Drama series treated her leading ladies to a celebratory photo shoot to mark the One Year DVD release of season One.

At a private resort the past weekend, Blessing hosted Adaora Ukoh, Chinonso Young, Katherine Obiang, Keira Hewatch and kiki Omeili to a fun day which ended with a photo shoot. She  thereafter sent the ladies home with fat envelops and goody bags. See more photos of the ladies below..

Gov. Amaechi arrested, detained by soldiers in Ondo – Rivers Govt

The Rivers State Government has issued a statement saying the state Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has been arrested and detained by security operatives in Odudu, Ondo state.

 

Governor Amaechi had arrived Ondo state en-route Ado-Ekiti where he was to join his fellow APC Governor, Kayode Fayemi for the last lap of his re-election campaign today in when he was refused entry into the state. He decided to turn back to Ondo state to go board the private jet that brought him but was however arrested by security agents. Kefee's body yet to arrive Nigeria as her husband is said to be inconsolable

There were reports yesterday that Kefee's body arrived Nigeria on June 17 but her Nigerian publicist has denied this. Kefee's body is still in a mortuary in Las Vegas. Her husband, Terry Don Momoh,  who spoke with her publicist said they are yet to finish the protocol that will allow them bring her body home, that it's not a simple process.

Meanwhile, Don Momoh is said to be inconsolable since the passing of his wife of two years. Friends of the Star FM presenter said he doesn't talk much these days and is still in shock over the death of the woman he loved and made future plans with.

Who watched the Cameroon vs Croatia match last night? The Cameroonians, who lost 4-0 to Croatia were so frustrated they turned against each other...lol. In the 90th minute of the match, Cameroon defender, Benoit Assou-Ekotto headbutted teammate Benjamin Moukandjo after exchanging a few words with him. Another teammate Pierre Webo had to break the pair up as it seemed they were ready to forget the football they came to Brazil to play and fight each other in front of millions of football fans.
