11-Year old boy becomes one of the youngest ever to be charged with manslaughter(Photo)

An 11 year old boy has been charged with manslaughter after a three-year-old boy was shot dead at his home.
Prosecutors charged the schoolboy with death by weapon aimed with intent but without malice, and using a firearm during a felony.
The older boy is believed to have taken a handgun from a wardrobe in a bedroom at his father's home in Detroit and tossed it from a window into the backyard.Later, he reportedly retrieved the gun and got into a car parked in the yard.
According to UK Mirror, the three-year-old, named as Elijah Walker, is then thought to have climbed into the car and was shot once in the face, police said.

Lecturer rapes 18 year old admission seeker in Lagos

A part-time lecturer, Afeez Baruwa,has been arrested for allegedly raping an 18-year-old girl, identified as Caroline (pseudonym) in the Yaba area.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the victim, who was reportedly raped inside a study room, was seeking admission into the University of Lagos, Akoka.

It was gathered that Baruwa was arrested by the Surulere Police Division on Monday, August 3.

Our correspondent gathered that the lecturer, however, told the police in his statement that the sexual intercourse was by mutual consent, insisting that he did not rape the victim.
