| Thousands of Arsenal fans flooded the streets of north London to celebrate their side’s dramatic FA Cup victory, that ended a nine-year wait for silverware. Match winner Aaron Ramsey was pinching himself on Sunday morning as the realisation of ending Arsenal’s trophy drought dawned on him. "I have never lied about this, I have never been 'a doing the cooking kind of woman'. When my husband met me, he knew. He was the one who used to do the cooking because he is good at it. I used to do the cooking when I felt like. Sometimes, it comes out to be a huge success and sometimes a failure. Some years ago, I cooked vegetables and it was terrible and my husband is such a gem, he ate it like that. It is not as if my mum didn't teach me. For my husband, cooking is a therapy and for me it is a chore and yet he will always tell you that I look after him so much, I do that in other ways. We have somebody who does the cooking. I have taught them to cook the way I like and we have people who do the general cleaning."

The protest by male students on campus on Wednesday 14, May 2014 had nothing to do with religion. A certain man, a non student was apprehended by our security personnel for trying to bring prohibited items into the school. After much interrogation, he mentioned the names of the culprits involved. An official went to the male hostel to get the students mentioned, one of whom was praying in the hostel. The students involved along with other students faced with student disciplinary committee cases took advantage of the interruption of prayers to start the protest.
The university properties worth millions were destroyed and this act was carried out by the male students. The students have been sent home on recess to resume back 2nd of June 2014.

The number of the dead following the rocket attack on Soye village market near Bama which killed 29 and injured many others has risen to 31. Chairman of Bama local government area, baba Shehu Gulumba has visited the general hospital in the area to sympathize with victims and also made a fifty thousand naira cash donation to a boy who sustained severe burns. Three out of the seven who were injured having died; the remaining four are receiving treatment in Maiduguri while five have already been discharged.
