The Senate yesterday passed the Tobacco Control Bill. According to the deputy senate president Ike Ekweremadu who presided over the plenary session on Tuesday May 12th, the bill will ensure effective regulation and control of production, manufacture, sale, labeling, advertising, promotion and sponsorship of tobacco and tobacco products in Nigeria.

17 year old Lauren Wiggins was criticized by her school bosses and put in dentition for wearing a 'sexually distracting' halter neck dress (pictured right) to school. What is the basic idea behind waist training?
The aim of waist training is to try reduce your waist by working the front and lower abdominals and obliques.

Army General says he has overthrown president Pierre of Burundi

An Army general has announced that, he has overthrown the president Pierre Nkurunziza who travelled to Tanzania for EAC Summit.
Major General Godefroid Niyombare, who was fired by Nkurunziza as intelligence chief three months ago, told reporters at a military barracks in the capital, Bujumbura, that he was working with civil society groups, religious leaders and politicians to form a transitional government.

“Regarding President Nkurunziza’s arrogance and defiance of the international community, which advised him to respect the constitution and Arusha peace agreement, the committee for the establishment of the national concord decide President Nkurunziza is dismissed. His government is dismissed too,” he told Reuters

Niyombare’s claim, however, was swiftly dismissed as “a joke” by one of the president’s advisers.

North Korea publicly executes defense chief for dozing off at event

North Korea has publicly executed the country's defense minister after the regime accused him of treason, disloyalty and disrespect, according to South Korean news agency Yonhap.

Hyon Yong Chol was killed by firing squad using an anti-aircraft gun at a military school in front of hundreds of people in Pyongyang around April 30, the agency reported, citing a media briefing by the National Intelligence Service at its headquarters in Seoul.

Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomole set to re-marry this Friday

Governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomole is reportedly getting ready to re-marry, 5 years after losing his first wife, Clara, to cancer in 2010.

According to sources close to the governor, Governor Oshiomole will be getting married to Miss Lala Forte at the Etsako West Local Government Council Marriage Registry, Auchi on Friday May 15th by 10am. Reception will take place at the People's Hall in Iyamho, Edo state.

Oshiomhole has already sent out a personally signed letter to friends and associates inviting them to his wedding. Now going to look for pics of the girl. I hear she's non-Nigeria & is a former air-hostess.
