Facebook Announces Plans For Money Transfer Feature On Messenger

Facebook, one of the world’s most renowned social networking site is planning to add a new feature in its Messenger app that will enable users send money directly to friends or members of the family conveniently.
According to a blog post from the firm, the feature will initially be made available for users in the US. To avail this feature, users will need to register debit cards to send or receive payments through Messenger.
“We use secure systems that encrypt the connection between you and Facebook as well as your card information when you ask us to store it for you. We use layers of software and hardware protection that meet the highest industry standards,” the post read.
After registering the debit card, users can tap a dollar icon while talking to a friend, enter the amount and send the money.
“These payment systems are kept in a secured environment that is separate from other parts of the Facebook network and that receive additional monitoring and control. A team of anti-fraud specialists monitor for suspicious purchase activity to help keep accounts safe,” the blog post said.
The new feature will initially be available for Android and iOS Messenger apps as well as the messaging section on Facebook.

Twins separated at birth reunite 25 years later - how they found each other is remarkable

One day, a friend of Anaïs Bordier asked her if she'd ever featured in a music video. She replied no. Then the friend told her he saw someone who looked exactly like her in the music video of Youtube star KevJumba titled 'High School Virgin'. This was back in December 2012. He then sent a screen shot from the video to Anaïs. Anaïs couldn't believe what she was seeing, the person in the video looked identical to her.

Curious about the lady, Anaïs Googled her and discovered that in addition to having the same face, they had the same date of birth, the same place of birth (Seoul), and they had both been adopted. The girls name was Samantha Futerman. Anaïs then reached out to her via Facebook and after speaking via Skype for three hours, the ladies discovered they were twins, separated at birth!

24yr old Harnaam Kaur, who lives in Berkshire, UK, and suffers from what doctors calls polycystic ovary syndrome (facial hair growth in women) says she now loves her beards and have stopped trying to get rid of it. Harnaam said she started growing the beards when she was just 11 years old and had to endure years of bullying and people making fun of her.

Harnaam, who once attempted suicide, had in the past tried to wax, bleach and shave the hair which also started growing on her chest and arms but finally decided to stop after being baptised as a Sikh, a religion that forbids the cutting of body hair. Windows 10 for phones leaked screenshots hint UI, icons update

We got a new bunch of screenshots of the Windows 10 for phones, which give us a better idea on the user interface and icons of the platform in its latest update.

setting which will effect only select handsets such as Lumia 730, Lumia 735 and Lumia 930. The main
Microsoft account can be removed without restoring the entire handset to factory setting, too.

You can also import or export the contacts from the SIM Card. Besides, there are subtle icon tweaks and setting toggle tweaks which make the UI look much better than the previous versions.

WhatsApp for iPhone to get Voice calling Soon

WhatsApp has been involved in A/B testing of Voice call feature for the Android platform for a couple of weeks. Meanwhile the same feature is being tested out for the iPhone too.

The Voice call feature on WhatsApp for iPhone is being tested on beta builds for the iOS platform. Minor user interface changes will take place to show the calling button right next to the contact’s name on the window.

When that button is hit, the voice call is initiated with a clear mention of the words – WhatsApp Call. Based on the beta testing, we can expect WhatsApp to make the calling feature available for the iPhone owners in the near future.
