Mariah Carey's sister begs her for forgiveness in open letter

Back in 2000, Mariah Carey's older sister, Alison, a mother of 4 sold an unflattering story about the singer and their family to the National Enquirer and also tried to write a tell-all book about Mariah.

Now Alison, who back then said she became a drug addicted HIV positive prostitute because she was low on cash, is begging Mariah to let bygones be bygones and let her back into her life. She wrote her famous sibling, who has since cut her off, an open letter via Star magazine. See that below...

Okocha and Oliseh snubbed in top 100 Bundesliga legends list

Bayern Munich defender David Alaba is the only footballer with links to Nigeria named by celebrated German newspaper Bild in its ranking of the Top 100 Players to grace the Bundesliga.

Surprisingly, retired Nigeria internationals Austin Okocha, Sunday Oliseh and Jonathan Akpoborie were not considered for selection, but ex Eintracht Frankfurt hero Tony Yeboah made the final cut.

Though Okocha, Oliseh and Akpoborie were not endorsed by the Berlin - based publication, the trio excelled  at Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund and VfB Stuttgart.

9 days after BH attack killed as many as 2,000, bodies still litter streets

According to a report by CNN, 9 days after Boko Haram launched an attack on Baga community in Borno state on January 3rd, bodies of the reported 2000 residents killed still litter the area.

Chairman of Kukawa Local Government where Baga falls under, says no corpse has been retrieved from the area for burial because Baga is still not safe to go into. "It is still no‎t safe to go and pick them up for burial," he said

Sen. Maina Ma'aji Lawan representing Borno North senatorial district told CNN that Baga is still not accessible as members of the sect group are still there. "Baga is not accessible because it is still occupied by Boko Haram" he said

Family says beauty queen Esther Kanu died of cardiac arrest at 24

On the morning of January 7th, model and MBGN contestant Esther Kanu suddenly slumped and died later at the Garki General hospital Abuja where she was rushed to.
