Caitlyn Jenner breaks world record by becoming the 1st person to hit 1m twitter followers within 4 hours

Caitlyn Jenner formerly known as Bruce Jenner, broke the world record formerly set by Pres. Barack Obama by becoming the first person to garner 1 million Twitter followers within four hours. The 65-year-old reality star gushed about this feat on the new twitter handle @Caitlyn_Jenner.

Those who are asking the new president and his deputy to publicly declare their asset will have to wait a bit longer as the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, which keeps custody of the assets declared by the two leaders, says it lacks the power to make them public for now.

Chairman of the CCB, Mr. Sam Sada, who spoke exclusively to Vanguard through his Special Assistant, Mr. Gwimi Sebastian Peter, said only the National Assembly is vested with the powers to decide the terms and conditions under which such documents could be made public.

The chairman said even though the Constitution of Nigerian made it clear that the agency should make available to the citizens the assets declared by public officials, the same law vested the National Assembly with the power to decide the terms and conditions for making such materials public.

The reactions of the Jenner children to Bruce Jenner's transition to Caitlyn have been generally positive, but not all of them are on board with his upcoming docuseries about the big change on E! even though he has begged them several times and the show's producers have begged them.

Of course the Kardashian girls and Kylie and Kendall will be on the show but the children with his previous wife have remained adamant about not wanting to be on the show.

Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner's 88-year-old Mother, Esther Jenner said she's very happy for her child but will still call him Bruce because that was what her and his father named him 65years ago.

She said: It's going to be a struggle for me to get used to the change, but happily so…'I'm very happy for him – or her!'

Management of the University of Ibadan has asked all its students to vacate the school premises and proceed on a mandatory two weeks mid-semester break due to the prevailing fuel scarcity.

The directive was contained in a statement sent out by the school's director of Communication, Mr Muhammed Oladejo today May 25th. U.S. Marine Cpl. Caleb Earwood wanted a moment to pray with his bride-to-be Maggie before their wedding ceremony on Saturday. Now the photo of the couple holding hands in prayer has gone viral.

The ceremony was about to start in Asheville, N.C., when Caleb went to the cabin where Maggie was preparing for the wedding ceremony. The couple then joined their hands around a corner to not break the tradition of the groom seeing his bride before the altar.

"They hid me in a room and he stepped up on the stairwell and he stuck his hand out and I grabbed his hand," Maggie Earwood told ABC News.

Nigerian students under the aegis of the National Association of Nigerian Students has warned South African President, Jacob Zuma, not to come to Nigeria for the inauguration of President-elect Buhari following what they described as his poor handling of the xenophobic attacks on some Africans including Nigerians in his country in April.

According to the student body, the failure of the South African President to apologize to Nigerians after the attacks is distasteful. The students expressed their anger in a statement signed by its President, Tijani Usman.
