Blood-spattered people were seen fleeing and vehicles crashed into each other, while soldiers fired automatic weapons. A suicide bomber is suspected of being behind the blast, reportedly near a market.

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly beaten by other girls before being held down to be raped in a horrifying attack that was filmed on a cellphone, it was revealed today.
Patricia Montes, 15 (pictured above right), and 16-year-old Erica Avery (pictured left) are accused of punching, kicking and pepper-spraying the girl before holding her down to be raped by Jayvon Woolfork, 19, police said.
The barbaric attack was filmed on a cell phone by Lanel Singleton, 18, and shows the girl writhing half naked and weeping in the yard of a home in Hollywood, Florida while her attackers leer over her. Continue...
Surendra Bhagwandass, a Base Maintenance Manager at Caverton Helicopters, a company that has contracts spanning from Shell to Total, said he became frustrated that while he was being well taken care of, Nigerian workers were poorly paid and their salaries were sometimes delayed. He said it was a security breach not to pay people who work for oil companies.
“Shame on you guys,” he told Caverton management in an email distributed to most staff and obtained by a PM News correspondent.
“(I) heard from the people I work with that they are not paid for the festive season. This is a security breach as I now feel uncomfortable to travel and work with, while you guys have a merry time. Please have a heart as these people have family while you all enjoy the best. Being with your family and Happy.“You all break record as the only Company in the World not to pay your workers.

| Ahh, just because Motorola has forgotten about the original Droid, the one that kicked off fragmentation like no other, doesn’t mean our strong at will developer’s community did. Remember Peter Alfonso? He’s the guy that also brought the Droid 2.3.4 a couple of weeks ago. Well, he’s still hard at work to keep the OG Droid up to date with recent devices. Alfonso has announced today that 2.3.5 is now available for download which would instantly allow this device to leap frog over new devices who haven’t even received the new version yet. Among some of the minor changes you’ll find are video capabilities with Gtalk, new Google Search features yet to even show up in the Market and a few others. Hit the break to snag the download link and thrust your Droid into the near distant future. Again, and as always, perform these updates at your own risk. If you’re not sure how to do it, try to get someone who is familiar with the process to give you a hand. After you download the zip file to your sd card, boot into recovery mode via ROM Manager.
